Wait for the X2 to drop its price. You'll be getting dual core for about the price you'd pay for that single core now.

Yeah, If I was going to get the X2, I would definitely wait for the price drop but what I am asking is which would be better? Should I go dual core with 512KB cache (X2) or the opty single core with 1MB cache? I don't game that much and I do mainly programming, office products, IE and some video encoding.
