From the quick research I did this morning, The O175 is about equivalent to an 4400X2, but will overclock better.

I could not find any benchmarks for the chip though.

Funny thing, I placed and order for the 175 opteron and it seems to never have gone thru. I check into my account under page computers and I see the order , yet I never received a confirmation email. Hopefully my order for the 148 is successful.

An order confirmation email is nothing more than that.......their website confirming that they successfully RECEIVED your order. Not approved, not processed, not shipped, just received.

I'm sure that there's at least one person over at Page Computers this morning, watching this mad dash to get grossly underpriced Opterons by thousands of people (aka "the Anandtech Effect"), and saying, "Wait! Wait! Wait.......dammit, how do I turn this thing off?!?!?"
