Optimus OLED Keyboard?

on the website (http://www.artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus-mini/answers/) it says the "mini keyboard" (only 3 buttons) will be released in May and the actual Optimus keyboard will be released at the end of 2006...so I guess we have to wait for another while...(gives us a little more time to save up the money, the small 3 button keyboard already costs $100 if you preorder it so I don't even want to know what the actual optimus keyboard will cost)

Knowing me I'm gonna conjur up the money to buy one of the full sized ones... it's one of those buys that you gotta do just cause it looks so cool.

So normally in windows, does it display "alt", "ctrl", and "delete"?

I got caught up in the hype of the Optimus OLED keyboard... but I quickly rescinded my excitement, when I realized a few things:

1) The entire selling point of this keyboard is the reconfigurable OLED keys... how often will you be changing the display on your key layout? Even if you were to say, load up Quake and replace WASD with up/down/left/right arrows, would you be willing to train yourself to look for up/down/left/right icons on the keys, instead of wasd?

2) No suggested price has been set or announced as of yet.

3) No keyboard manufacturer is backing this. We have not seen any working models. Personally, I would not spend what will certainly be a few hundred bucks on the first-mover device that is many times more complex than current keyboards (due to the incredible increase in the number and complexity of components that have to go into one of these things) without reassurance that a manufactuer with experience with peripherals (like Logitech) is backing this product.

4) I am wondering how it actually performs as a keyboard... great looking OLED keys, with mushy crappy keystroke action is a waste.

I think it has HUGE potential for people like me who sometimes type in other languages... It's a pain in the ass to remember what english keys correspond to the greek letters.
