Optorite DD203 flakey; how contact Optorite???

My DD203 is acting quite flakey suddenly. leaving email for Optorite tech support via their website results in zero reso\ponses from them. Cannot find any phone numbers anywhere, including asking Newegg where i bought the DD203.

Anyone have any ideas/info re how to get them to respond?

I have emailed them a couple times and they did finally respond after a week or so. I emailed them one time and asked them what the new firmware was about and got a reply the next day. Yeah optorite tech support sucks. Email them again and say this is the 14th request maybe, email them everyday. Don't think I will buy Optorite again mainly because of this problem. My dd201 has been reliable though so far. good Luck

Their hdburn is next to useless because dvd-r are much cheaper then cdr in bangs for the bucks DD

Persistence is the key. I have been back and forth with them since April. Sometimes they respond the same day, other times two weeks or more. By the way, what problems are you having with the DD0203? I had one and it worked great for 6 mos. without a single coaster issue. Then all of a sudden, couldn't get a good burn. That's when I first contacted Optorite and after about o month back and forth, they sent let me RMA the DD0203 and they sent me a DD0405 (8x -/+ RW) as a replacement. I have not been able to get it to burn and playback at 8x. It works great at 4x. That's why I'm currently trying to work with them. The bottm line is the Customer Support Sucks!!!

Third-tier brand, third tier support... If you really want Optorite, buy it with the MSI name on it.
