I still don't play FPS on consoles, but driving games and action platformers aren't bad. I didnt like Uncharted demo at first either, but I ended up loving the game. In shooters like Uncharted I would essentially stop so I could line up a good head shot, as its hard to do them on the move like with a mouse. I learned to essentially play it like a Rambo movie: just keep moving and firing. Not everything needs to be a head shot. I relied on melee a lot as well. By the end of the game I felt better about the controls, and each game like it I complain less and less.
If you get gamefly, I recommend Spider-man: Web of Shadows. Heavenly Sword was kinda cool. SF4 and Soul Caliber 4 are excellent. Midnight Club LA is good as well. Burnout Paradise is only $20 now new. And Infamous comes out next week. Dont play GTA4...you have to work up to that. Even for a console game controls are sh!t, but at least it has a lock on so you dont have to really aim.
Between me moving trying not to get hit, trying to aim, and the enemies constantly moving, it's near impossible to get a hit on them. The aiming controls seem really slow too, particularly in MGS4 demo.
I've got a bunch of demos downloaded, different genres, but haven't installed any but MGS 4 and uncharted yet.
Played GT4 on PC.
