it makes me sad when I have to order delivery from a restaurant that doesn't support online ordering.

I feel more secure using my CC through a secured shopping cart as opposed to just reading the number over the phone, and there's less chance of getting the order wrong when the restaurant has it in writing (not necessarily applicable to pizza, but definitely when I'm ordering Chinese or sushi)

How convenient does it need to be? Surely this can't be more than a 6x a year deal?
It's really scary how the majority of people treat their bodies. Would you dump a quart of lard in your car engine?

Any opportunity to avoid talking to a live person is worth exploring.

I agree, more convenient on two fronts for me. Accuracy. They can still get it wrong, but takes one less variable out of the communication chain (converting verbal to text, it's already in their computer). Also, I find I generally get a higher quality, fresher, pizza when I order online vs. phone (I always pick up/take out btw, never delivery). I think it's because so many companies instantly open a window to prompt your feedback when you order online, when if you do it over the phone or in person, you'd have to go out of your way, find their email or go to their website to rate them. One case I could never find it at all.

The problem with that is, even though you have better odds of getting a perfect order, when they do still mess it up (& it will happen eventually) & you rate accordingly, your name is attached to it, & you don't want to go back to them. So it took a while, but I've since systematically eliminated every location here whenever they got me. Haven't had pizzas in a looooong time.

Cheap, easy, and delicious > Healthy

Every time.

Nope. Have had a craving for burgers since last night. Instead of cheap and easy and settling for garbage fast food today I'm picking up some Hawaiian buns with fresh veggies to throw on with some lean beef. Should really be great after my bicycle ride this afternoon.

That's far worse for you than greasy hamburger.

burgers with lean beef?

why bother? may as well be eating a soy burger.

Taste buds change after awhile of eating healthy. A greasy hamburger makes me gag now. Even sodas taste like turning a sugar dispenser upside down and sucking on it to me.

Gotta spoil myself every now and then. Most people would have stopped at McDonald's and had a soda with a greasy burger and fries and you're giving me crap for eating Hawaiian buns with my hamburger and baked chips after an afternoon of bicycling?

Because I have the coupon. Use "choose50" as the coupon and you will get the same price as I did.

Different stroke for different folks. For example, I would NEVER get anchovies but some folks would love that.

Others like you like one or two toppings. I and others like variety.

Because it's important that we all give each other crap about our eating habits, instead of just figuring out & discussing what works best for ourselves.

Otherwise how much fun could eating healthy & not drinking sodas possibly be, in a pizza thread?

More than 4 toppings, IMO, and it becomes a clusterfuck of different flavors.

you're still paying 50% too much for Papa Johns.

I'll agree with this. Last time I got a PJ pizza I couldn't see much difference in the hamburger and the grains of salt. That's how small they were. Maybe two pepperoni per slice.

ya know since they redid their pizza a couple years ago, Dominos is a decent pie. Esp for the price you pay. I'm not paying 25 bucks for a specialty pizza from a local non-chain place. I'm paying 8 bucks for a mushroom and pepperoni, and it's a great deal.

You're missing out, there's a mom and pop, well actually pop and pop because the owners are gay. But any ways, a local pizza shop and their $32 large "specialty" pizza is good! I got a pizza a salad and some wings and it was $55. Only peasants eat at a place like Dominoes.
