Looks like a decent mid range gaming rig there..

However, the 80GB western digital seems abit small these days.

The 80GB 8MB cahce WD were a big thing two years back , but not anymore..

You could also try and save abit of money by not getting a NF-4 Mobo. a NF-3 is good nuff or even a via. (do this if you are on a budget)

Chinoman: It looks to be a pretty good machine. Do you have a case and psu? Is the video card PCI-E or AGP?

n0cmonkey: Just for reference, what is a good chipset for a linux system?

I already have a Antec 3600-AMB w/ 300w PSU that I'm going to use. The card will be PCI-E.

i'm not n0cmonkey.. but until nforce drivers mature on linux, VIA is about the only sane way to go.

nVidia should open up a bit before I'll recommend them. VIA, AMD, and Intel are all good choices.
