They play Ole Miss and Arkansas...then in the SEC championship, probably Georgia. You really think any of those three teams can beat LSU? Okay...

LSU could easily have 3 or 4 losses...they've managed to escape with only 1 so far.

escape?? right....they're a good team with depth. losing one player is not going to kill them like it would Oregon. Check out the last few championship teams who have "escaped" losses. OSU '02, LSU '03, USC '04, Texas '05, UF '06. That is the mark of a champ.
And LSU is playing Tennesee in the SECCG game unless they lose.

whatever you need to tell yourself
USC wasn't supposed to lose to Stanford, Cal was supposed to lose to Oregon State, OSU wasn't supposed to lose to Illinois, Oregon isn't supposed to lose to Arizona... - and LSU wasn't supposed to lose period. Everyone claims how they have so much more talent than any other team. The mark of a champ is to play better defense than LSU has, they give up too many points and they have to call ridiculous plays and get ridiculously lucky to win games they shouldn't have trouble winning, they're so very not like any of the previous championship teams you've mentioned.
The fact that they have already lost a game and have only had close games since tells me they could easily drop one of their last three games, even if its to an unexpected opponent as everyone and their dog is losing such games this year.

The fact of the matter is, they have won. That's all that matters...not how much you win by. They are still on top...and, yes, it's possible, but I'd say unlikely that LSU gets beat again this year (not including a NC appearance).
