Arizona has just taken the lead with the Ducks' backup QB in. Are we going to see Kansas/LSU in the championships?

Well..not sure if this is a repost since the other guy posted at the same time. Maybe you two can do a thumb war? Anyway..would love to see the Ducks win since I'm from the PNW.

I was in AZ stadium when AZ beat cal last year when they were ranked at like 5 or something. It gets electric in there. People from around the city start filling the stadium (it never sells out anymore so there are plenty of tickets). Its going to get interesting as the game goes on. They just need to protect tuitama as he has a thing about getting concussions - they come a bit too easy for him and he gets rattled easy.

LOL Kansas has to go through Missouri and Oklahoma first. If oregon loses each of those 3 teams controls their own destiny. Whoever wins the Kansas/Missouri game will play for the big 12 championship against oklahoma. If oklahoma cant win it i'd like to actually see Kansas win.

Oregon was the only team currently legitimately in the hunt for the BCS NC that had the easiest route to get there, and now they look like they'll lose this game.

LSU is probably going to lose again as well.

It's pretty simple, we need a playoff, this year should increase our chances of seeing one sooner rather than later.

unfortunately, this game is all but a blowout for the cats now.

I kinda wanted to see my home team go all the way, but the future is in doubt now. Hopefully they can keep blitzing the very sackable Tuitama.

They play Ole Miss and Arkansas...then in the SEC championship, probably Georgia. You really think any of those three teams can beat LSU? Okay...

UGa is ranked 9th in the BCS, i don't see how it is unrealistic to say they can beat LSU.

i would say, not likely, but not unrealistic.

IF UGa does beat LSU, how high would UGa go and how far would LSU drop?

LSU could easily have 3 or 4 losses...they've managed to escape with only 1 so far.

escape?? right....they're a good team with depth. losing one player is not going to kill them like it would Oregon. Check out the last few championship teams who have "escaped" losses. OSU '02, LSU '03, USC '04, Texas '05, UF '06. That is the mark of a champ.

And LSU is playing Tennesee in the SECCG game unless they lose.

whatever you need to tell yourself

USC wasn't supposed to lose to Stanford, Cal was supposed to lose to Oregon State, OSU wasn't supposed to lose to Illinois, Oregon isn't supposed to lose to Arizona... - and LSU wasn't supposed to lose period. Everyone claims how they have so much more talent than any other team. The mark of a champ is to play better defense than LSU has, they give up too many points and they have to call ridiculous plays and get ridiculously lucky to win games they shouldn't have trouble winning, they're so very not like any of the previous championship teams you've mentioned.

The fact that they have already lost a game and have only had close games since tells me they could easily drop one of their last three games, even if its to an unexpected opponent as everyone and their dog is losing such games this year.

i never said thet WON'T lose another game. Of course, college football is unexpected.

But to say that they are unlike the teams I listed is insane.

OSU
The first of many nailbiters for Buckeye fans came September 21 against the 1-1 Cincinnati Bearcats as the team required an interception in the end zone by safety Will Allen with 32 seconds remaining to seal a 23-19 victory. Playing a rare road game against an Ohio opponent in Paul Brown Stadium, named for an illustrious former Buckeye head coach, 6th-ranked Ohio State played much of the game trailing the unranked Bearcats of Conference USA, who had narrowly lost by a field goal the previous week to West Virginia. UC put up more than 400 yards of offense, bombing the Buckeye defense with 52 passes, but was stymied by dropped passes and two 4th quarter interceptions.

LSU
Lost to Florida

USC
1 2 3 4 T
#1 USC (4-0) 10 7 7 7 31
STAN (2-1) 7 21 0 0 28

Came back to beat lowly stanford.

Texas
Had to come back from way down to beat Ok. State in the 2nd half

Florida
Lost a game and had to block a FG at home to beat S. Carolina.

kthxbi

The fact of the matter is, they have won. That's all that matters...not how much you win by. They are still on top...and, yes, it's possible, but I'd say unlikely that LSU gets beat again this year (not including a NC appearance).

Actually in college how much you win by does matter.
