Oregon/SW Washington people: how much is gas?

Have to fill up tomorrow, 23 gallon tank.

Last time I got gas (about a week ago) it was $2.10. I have to fill up tomorrow and I'm counting on a solid $3 or so. I can't wait.

It's 2.11 for Regular(so add 0.10 for plus and again for prem) at the Chevron right down the street from me, which has always been the cheapest station for a couple of miles. The only one I know that can be cheaper sometimes is the AM/PM up on.. hmm, can't remember the cross street.. and 92nd, but only by like 2 cents.

I live in the SW metro area ( Tigard ) and average price is around $2.17 regular unleaded.

I usually gas up at the '76 near 5th and Western. $2.16 for regular.

That ARCO on 3rd was $2.13, so not much incentive to pay with cash.

Yeah, it is always the cheapest Chevron in town. Usually worth the little extra drive out of the way for me. I can't recall what else is at the intersection, but the gas station is on the north side of Walker about half a block or so east of 185th. Kind of tucked out of the way.

Does the Costco in Beaverton sell gas? Out here (in Indy) Costco is usually about $.25 a gallon cheaper than anybody else (they've been around $1.65/gal for a while now)

Scroll 3/4's down. Post on 02/09/03, before the Iraq Invasion, where despite popular opinion at the time that invading Iraq would lower gas prices ("Operation Unleaded $0.999"), I predicted that invading Iraq would drive oil prices up.
Two days later, gas prices went up
Continued stupidity from others on 3/10/03

The War on Iraq has everything to do with oil. To drive prices up.

Might I interest you in some Chevron-Texaco stock?
Note when its price fell, and then when it went back up. And up.
