Hey guys and gals. Just wondering, how good is having gone to a vocational school and getting diplomas for Microcomputer Specialist and Netwoking Specialist, plus my A+ and Net+ certifications? At least good enough for me to get my foot in the door, assuming I ever find a door that is? Right now, that's all I got, no experience, but LOTS of at home practice, and I've done a few odd and end computer jobs for people I know. I'd rather not HAVE to go back to school and get MCSE and Visual Basic training unless I have to. Well, not for a while anyway.
Well my day just went from bad to worst....just found out today that my contract ends as of tommorow...this blows...and what a nice heads up they gave me. At first I was extended to the end of Feb. now its tommorow.......rage building....

Sorry to hear
Do you have a website? I am putting a link to as many PC Techs/Consultants as I can on the DSL Modem website. It could be a great extension of the Networking here. Sort of like a functional useful Resume page that potential Employers or people that could use your services page. I've just been putting the links up now , I will organize it better once there is more entries.
Anyone in here that would like to put their link up just shoot me either a PM here or to my E-mail address.

I continue to be amazed at the number of job search sites there are on the Web. I have a printed listing of about 250 such sites. I've started to enter these sites into an HTML document which can be utilized as a collection of these sites. Here's what I have so far: Job Search Sites - I will continue to update the table with the sites until all 250 have been entered. I hope to have this activity completed within the next couple of days. I continue to post the updates as I complete them at the provided link.
Unfortunately, my printed listing is not formatted in such a manner that would facilitate the use of OCR scanning software.
