Another "looking for a job" post

I just graduated in December with a BS in CS, and am just a few classes shy of also having degrees in IS and Biology (environmental science). Classes and on-my-own experience in C++, VB (6.0 & .NET), Java. I've also worked every summer for the last three years, and also last fall, for the IT Helpdesk at school. I would prefer a job in / around the St. Louis, MO area, but I would be willing to move if need be.

I hear ya!

I got my MCSE cert in December 2000 and worked for almost 4 years until laid off end of last March. There is NOTHING in the Syracuse area - only piecemeal temp work. No responses on submitted resume's. I'm back to doing geological consulting p/t to pay the rent and can't leave the area since my 9 year old lives nearby with her mother.

Well I'm about to lose my job, my contract is ending and won't be renewed (along with the 7 other contractors in a similar position), so I'm loooking again. I'm located in the SF Bay Area (Fremont specifically). I have a BS in MIS, and have done primarily Desktop/Technical/Help desk support. Currently working at a major healthcare provider doing desktop support. I prefer desktop, but I can't be picky right now.

I am a recent college grad out in Riverside, California with a B.A. in Business Administration. I have 2.5 years experience in retail sales at Best Buy but I am really looking to get out of sales and into business/human resource management.

I also have 3 years experience working at my university campus as a Resident Advisor, with some supervisory experience as well.

Looking for opportunities within the southern California area if possible.
