I just loaded it on my powerbook g3 and i think the first thing that came outta my mouth was "DAYUM".

It is cool and stable, but is nowhere near an enthuist's OS. That privilege belongs to Windows XP, which is so extensible and has so much support that it's ridiculous. OS X is for consumers.

yea, i have to use macs for my school newspaper and i hate them with a vengeance...but since i put OSX on my mac its much more bearable, i'm now working on getting everything setup so i can just use the CLI for all my stuff except graphics work and page layouts

wtf are you talking about? OSX is a unix, which is as close to "an enthusiast's OS" as you're gonna get. and on top of that, WinXP is about as consumer-aimed as you could ever get.
