WTFBBQ?!
why in the world would anyone do that instead of bringing the body in and showing everyone proof!

yeah,. they took a pic of the dead body. so what?!?
Photoshop anyone?

thimbs up: Osama dead
thumbs down: obama for dumping the body in the river

now for the next decades we're going to hear about Osama is in witness protection or something like that.
or having a 3some w/elvis and MArylyn Monroe

I like to think he's held somewhere where they can extract every bit of information from him. This way they don't have to worry about terrorists taking hostages and demanding the release of OBL.

Why provoke more hatred?

I think it was the decent thing to do...the "Christian" thing to do. I have no problem with the burial at sea or the way this was handled.

I'll tell you this though, Obama's approval rating just went waaaay up I bet.

Which doesn't make any sense. The only reason this happened at all is because Obama didn't pull out of a war started a long time ago by somebody Obama supporters loathe.

Yet, in spite of the fact that the war in Afghanistan was started by Dubya, MOST Americans support it because of the tie to 9-11 and Osama Bin Forgotten...I mean Osama Gon Bye-bye.
The war in Iraq is yet another subject...and is best left for a different thread.

Based on your retarded logic, we should allow terrorists to get away with murder b/c if we go after them, it'll only make things worse. Yeah, that's a good plan.

In Osama's case, yes we should. Because we would have spent a lot less money if we focused on homeland security as opposed to going directly after him, the taliban and Saddam Hussain. This whole foolish charade in Iraq and Afghanistan did more damage to this country than Osama ever hoped to do.

Also, are you really so naive as to believe that it was actually Osama or Al Kaida that is responsible for the attack on the WTC?

Such fail, where to even begin.

Yet you couldn't even begin.

Osama news breaks TPS record (Tweets Per Second)

http://edition.cnn.com/2011/TECH/social.media/05/02/bin.laden.twitter.record/

Online chatter about the death of Osama bin Laden was so intense on Sunday night that Twitter set a new record.

During President Barack Obama's address, Twitter users posted messages at an average rate of 3,440 tweets per second, according to the company's official public relations news feed.

"Last night saw the highest sustained rate of tweets ever. From 10:45 p.m. - 2:20 a.m. ET, there was an average of 3,000 tweets per second," the company wrote, before updating that number to 3,440.

I don't have to begin, take a look at what you wrote. You must be 10 if you think "homeland security" would be any better if we didn't go after Osama. Grow up and learn what a budget is, and how they are allocated. Middle school conspiracy theorists are so cute.

Are you this stupid in real life, or just on the internet?

...sad to know we are celebrating the death of someone, but good to know that victory over evil is happening to this day.
