I don't have to begin, take a look at what you wrote. You must be 10 if you think "homeland security" would be any better if we didn't go after Osama. Grow up and learn what a budget is, and how they are allocated. Middle school conspiracy theorists are so cute.

I know what I wrote. But I also see what you DIDN'T write. You didn't give me any facts, any thoughts, nothing at all to back up what you say. You keep insulting me, but you cant say anything smart to back up your claims.

As for the budget, I see how they allocated it. They allocated it so well, we barely avoided a second great depression. ; )

As for the conspiracy, obviously I have no proof, but I don't see any proof that it was Osama or Al Quaida who planned and committed those terrorist acts in the US. The terrorists may be smart and resourceful, but they are not smart and resourceful enough to carry out an attack on such a large scale, somehow managing not being shot down en route to their targets and avoiding all security. Hence these suspicions that there was help from inside are justified.

And the fact that all this was used to invade Iraq, a country that posed no real threat as was discovered later... (no wmd's found) That is what's retarded. Much more harm than good was done. Museums with priceless relics were looted.... Valued pieces of history destroyed... Hundreds of US soldiers killed... Beautiful city in ruins... Social order and structure destabilized, a country without a real ruler. Many govt officials filled their pockets with the money that was supposed to go for the war in Iraq and toward rebuilding it after the war.

Saddam may have been a tyrant, but he was THEIR tyrant. Al least under his rule, looters weren't roaming the streets, and bombs weren't going off in broad daylight. The majority of those people didn't want democracy. Why force it on them? The war started with Iraquis cheering for the American soldiers and praying for their success, now, many of them just want the Americans to leave.

How about all the people died or lost their homes in the South caused by tornadoes? Donald Trump is still a billionaire and laughing all the way to the bank with all the free publicity.

You do know that Trump is not a billionaire, right?

Hey Boomer- I'm no fan of Obama, but the right thing was done when they dumped the body in the sea. Sure it might feel good to do any number of things, but at that point you have created a location for a martyr to be created and celebrated. I don't give a flying you know what about that except that increases the chances of other people dying. I'd bet the farm if you asked those who lost family at the WTC they'd respond "no". Enough died for this SOB.

In my opinion everybody is thanking the wrong person. The person who should be thanked is the Navy SEAL operator who had Obama in his sights, squeezed the trigger, and got a kill shot. That's the guy who deserves all the bragging rights, not Obama. Obama just gave approval to the mission. Because of the secretive nature of special ops, we may never find out who the actual Navy Seal was who killed him. But that guy is the true hero here.

freudian slip much?

that NAVY seal would not have had the opportunity if it were not for Obama, who did more than just approve the mission.

again...I hate Obama as much as anyone out there. But he did really a freaking awesome job here. I'm also impressed that he didn't put it off til closer to the election.

Hate the guy all you want...it doesn't mean he can't do something right.

Clinton had him on a silver platter and didn't have the guts to give the go.

Bush bombed the hell out of any place that OBL could possibly be, then the 50 mile radius around it.

Damn dude, I don't know if you were too young to remember the goings on of the 90's, or have just drunk too much of the kool-aid and it's fogged your memory...Clinton tried to go after Bin Laden many times, but was stopped repeatedly by the Republicans who had control of Congress...

"Of Clinton's efforts says Robert Oakley, Reagan Ambassador for Counterterrorism: "Overall, I give them very high marks" and "The only major criticism I have is the obsession with Osama"."

http://iarnuocon.newsvine.com/_news...proved-stronger-than-republicans-on-terrorism

"Ironically, when Clinton attempted to kill bin Laden in 1998, he was criticized by some Republicans in Congress for attempting to "wag the dog"-- their apparent zeal to keep Clinton's sexual escapades in the limelight prompted them to make a number of assertions about Clinton's effort. Arlen Spector said, "here's an obvious issue that will be raised internationally as to whether there is any diversionary motivation." Republican Jim Gibbons stated it outright, "Look at the movie Wag the Dog. I think this has all the elements of that movie." He went on to call it a "knee-jerk reaction to try to direct public attention away from his personal problems." John Ashcroft asked, "were these forces sent at this time because he needed to divert our attention from his personal problems?" John McCain criticized Cinton's excessive focus on bin Laden."

I very much remember Clinton being accused of "Wagging the dog" to divert attention away from the Monica Lewinsky affair, every damned time he tried to get aggressive against terrorism.
BTW, the "Sudan offered OBL to Clinton and he declined" story has been proven wrong many times.

And knowing a former Iraqi Soldier with many family members still in Iraqi, he and his family are glad for the war and the overthrowing of Saddam. Polls in Iraq confirm that feeling.

Bin Laden has admitted to planning 9/11 and the men on those planes can be traced back to him but that's not good enough for you. Let me guess, you believe the US Gov't performed 9/11?

Do you spout any of this crazy talk to people in real life? Do they laugh at you uncontrollably?

(I linked to MSNBC for a major news source. Do your own Googling and you will see there are more detailed sites that aren't as credible)

Clinton had the chance to kill Bin Laden. Our soldiers knew exactly where he was but Clinton was afraid of collateral damage.

In 96, Sudan offered us Bin Laden. Clinton declined because he didn't want to deal with him.

this is a haha at you.

on some days he is...

depending on his mood

this is a haha with you.
