I have 2 and they make a pretty darn good desk, very large, and sturdy. The surface seems like it bubbles a bit when wet, so don't spill to much beer on it

It weighs at least 150-175. I can lift a 100lb desk myself without too much trouble and thats def. not 100lbs. (OMAX and Staples both sell the same desk) It is a pretty good desk especially at that price. Like officeboy said, (and this goes in general for all Osullivan furniture) the cheap laminate will bubble and peel if you get moisture on it so use a cupholder

They were not this big though.

i got this desk. very durable, don't wobble at all. I have a 20", a 17", a mini-tower computer, and other crap on it. However, it's heavy like a mofo. I nearly broke my back carrying it upstairs.

tite seiya man! i was just about to ask how the desk space was. i have a 17 and 20 incher. in the description it says it can only hold a 19inch. but good to hear u can manage. stiill space to do homework on? like a few books and a notepad.? also i worked at office max and hurt my back carrying one of these thngs.. ouch

Be careful. This one is different from the one in Staples, which is much larger.

This L workcenter is a little bit smaller than the one that was posted here about 10 months ago. I suggest going to Home Depot and buying a couple sheets of thin acrylic to lay on top to prevent bubbling on the desk surface.

I have 2 of these desks connected together to make a U shape. They are excellent quality and I picked them both up for about $70 shipped each last year. They are *EXTREMELY HEAVY* depending on your geekiness, you may need more than 2 people to help you out with this. The Office Max delivery people actually took it to my basement

Took 30 mins or so to assemble each.

I ordered this desk from Officemax which include a free file cart($40 value) last week and using the $20 off coupons my total comes to $115 shipped next day. Here's what it looks like at home. It's a very nice desk if I weren't so messy. I really like the glass top.

I bought one these desks last year(sans hutch) from OMax and it is REALLY sturdy. They can be a pain to disassemble and move too, but definitely worth $80, even better if you find a coupon at one of many coupon sites....look around, do a search, don't be lamed by Anandtech rules, use yer noggin.
