OSX and Win2k compatible drive enclosure?

I'm looking for a decent quality external drive housing for a WD 200GB JB series.

I already have the drive, I just want an empty enclosure for it. FireWire and USB2 would be nice although I could live with just USB2, supporting both OSX and Win2k is a must.

Supporting drives bigger than my 200GB would be nice too, so I can have some future expandability.


Any ideas on what are good brands/models to look for? I'm quite new to external enclosures.

I know NCIX.com has quite a few reviews on it. I was actually looking for an enclosure and I found a 160GB HD FW/USB2 for $99cdn and compared to a good enclosure which is ~$60 it didn't pay to cheapen out

Most people say that Oxford offers the best Firewire chipset. Here's a nice little enclosure.

If you don't need/want 1394b (800Mbps) then just pick an enclosure without it. AFIK all of the enclosures work on any mac/pc that offers USB/Firewire.
