It's a big liability, some place could blame anadtech for giving out codes that aren't supposed to be public, it's not like anandtech was posting codes itself, but then again, napster didn't put up all those MP3s either, and look where they are.

Just be happy with what you've got

The story goes that Anandtech did allow the posting of coupon codes, but several companies including Staples were starting to get angry at Anandtech, and so Anandtech decided to not allow coupon codes on the forums to prevent any lawsuits\liabilities...
