Feb 15th, 2003. I'm now home...have added a post to thank you all again. also added this...

Take care to all...
Robert
Feb. 10th, 2003....4:00AM...my brother has taken his last breath and his heart the last beat. His life will live on in our memories and his beautiful children. Thank you all for your wonderful support and God Bless you all.
Please hug your children today....you never know when something may happen....
Update: 2-5-03....Exactly one month from his accident, my brother is now likely to die. He has no (or little) brain activity and his body is shutting down. They are now pumping fluid off of his lungs or he will simply drown in is own water. I'm not sure whether we make the decision to pull the plug or if more doctors are going to evaluate James. We were told that if he were to survive (1 to 2 percent chance), he would need 100% care for the rest of his life. Thank you all for your prayers.....
Robert
Update: 1/21/03. Brother improving....Thank God! See my last post for details!
Update: 1/15/03. My brother is doing very poorly. He is back on the vent....losing blood pressure....moved back to the Trauma ICU.....I don't want my brother to die...we may have not gotten along very good...but I do love him and want him to recover.......Please...please....keep him in your prayers and thoughts.....
Today, I went to Columbus Ohio to be with my little brother (6 ft. 4 in. and 280 lbs)....but the reason I went was not just to spend time with him. He was involved in a head on accident with a Semi last night at midnight. He was trapped in the car for several hours and is in the ICU unit in Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He has multiple laserations (speel?) on his head and body and has a broken vertabrai (speel?) in his neck. He is on a ventilator and is heavily sedated because he, once conscience, moves his arms and legs wildly trying to remove the tubes from his body. If any of you want to spare a prayer for my brother and family, please do so. I normally don't ask things like this, but you guys are the only family on the web that I would want to do so.....(sorry about the spelling....too hard to think tonight)
Thanks and have a good evening.
(P.S. Sorry to Dennis for not stopping by on his Birthday...especially while I was in Columbus....but hopefully, he understands )
