Update: Somewhat encouraging news.....my brother has reponded to voice command...he raised his right arm when told to do so. The hospital is going to try to remove the vent tube today...a very good sign.

The body needs time.
I was hit crossing the street by a pickup truck. (CLIPPING FIVE YARD PENALITY!!!) (Dam ambulance drive must have hit every possible bump in the road and then backed up to get the ones he missed!!!!)
They sent me home that evening, but for the next 3 days I hurt so bad all I did was make trips to the bathroom. The first time I got up off the bed to make a trip to the restroom I walked around from one side of the bed to the other and that was as far as I got cause I almost passed out and the ground would have come up again and hit me another time.

So just remember it takes time cause you just sleep and the dam nurses come in and wake you up. (And they say visitors are stressful. baaa!)

One final update...my brother is off the ventalator and breathing OK on his own. That's the only news I have at the time, but I again thank each and every single one of you for your prayers!
