I'm so sorry... Nobody plans on being the one that has to help make a decision like this. I hope I never do, though it is likely that sooner or later I may have to do it. I just hope I can make the choice the person would have wanted.

Remember one thing, no matter what happens down here to our bodies on the other side we'll be unscathed. Do what you know think he would want, it may mean you're seperated from him for a longer period of time but in the end you'll still see him again.

Thank you all....it means a lot.

Little improvment....more or less the same. They have implanted tubes in both his lungs to remove fluid. I'm really not sure that the hospital knows what they are doing (I don't know how fix it either, but they seem to be perplexed or confused).

I will most likely head to Columbus tomorrow night through Saturday. It will be a difficult trip as both my heart aches along with a pretty bad infection that I have that causes me much pain for the past week (In the daddy parts! :Q...groan)

You guys are the best......you make me smile...and your great spirit brings tears to my eyes also....I'm blessed to have you as a "family" also and a "friend" too!

God Bless you all and I hope that none of you have to ever face this.......I don't know how my Dad's doing it...

Edit: One more thing.....thank you all so much for the PM's...I haven't answered them all and am sorry if I didn't. I'm running running around at work and catch them once and a while...but didn't have time to respond. I really appreciate it and hope that nobody feels left out if I didn't get to answer.

Key is the brain activity, he is still here with us and there is hope for a miracle and good recovery.
Didn't you say at one point he recognized people in the room? If so they must not have caught brain fluid swelling. Hopefully his brain can start healing and wasn't damaged too far. Keep us up to date when you can.
