OT: how does ebates work?

I just placed an order for Accessmicro by linking from their site. It said I should get 2% back but I don't see it in my account. Do I gotta send them the receipt or what? How does it work?

You don't have to do anything, it usually takes a week or two. You'll get an e-mail from ebates when your account is credited.

so it takes a few weeks for the rebate to show up? I didn't get any sort of confirmation from ebates after i placed an order w/ accessmicro
