OK, I am REALLY REALLY upset. I got an email from MSN about a month ago saying my balance was $100.00, since I made a purchase of $799.00. Today, I get an email saying the following:

I received my MSN promo email this morning with the correct $100 credited for my purchases. If you amount is not as expected, look at your online transaction details for the MSN promo using the link provided in the email and see if the store(s) reported the correct amount.

I had the opposite experience ... just got an e-mail claiming that I could get $100 (I was only expecting $80). When I signed in to validate my address, it had the correct $80 amount listed.

I logged in and it shows the correct $799.00 purchase and shows the $100 reward as being highlighted. Maybe their automatic email generation script is wrong. Anyway, I have requested the $100 check, let's see what happens. I'm curious if anyone else had this problem. It's very strange since the original confirmation I got from MSN said my balance was $100.00.

Same experience here. E-mail said to click on the link to claim my $80, but the link correctly had the $60 I was expecting highlighted. I was hoping for the extra $20.

GOOD NEWS!!! Got an e-mail saying sorry for an e-mail that was sent earlier showing Rewards amount incorrectly(which I never got). Then it went blah blah.... and here's your 100 reward for spending 550+.

Gave the address and said hte check should be mailed in 30 days.

PS: It asked for house number in one field and street name in another. IS this to trap more than one claim per household? BUt the promotion clearly said one per customer. Anyway, I plan to play it safe and give different addresses just to make sure I have no problems with my 5 checks.

I got e-mails to 2 accounts so far. Should be getting it soon to others.

EDITED: Don't have to get e-mail to complete the address information. Login to .NET and then go to the link given in this thread and you should see all your purchase amount and requests for address and name to mail the check.

Kool Stuff. Made about 170 profit on DSC-P50 Sony Digital camera and still own the camera, Paid $240 for Sony DSC-S85, Made money on Sony 128 MB Memory Sticks due to recent huge price drops, Cost about $150 for JVC XV-F80BK 7-Disc Progressive Scan DVD Player. The list goes on and on and I TAKE THIS TO THANK ALL OF YOUR AT ANANDTECH.

Love to spend money because of you guys.

For the past month, I must have emailed MSN at least five times, since they could never CONFIRM my purchase, even though Ritz camera told me that my purchase was part of the Excel file that was sent to MSN. Since I was getting worried that I wouldn't receive the reward, I returned the camera Friday, and ofcourse, just my luck, MSN also sent me the email today :disgust: maybe I should try to claim the reward anyway.....

Never got the first email with the errors...I did finally get all 3 emails from Microsoft tonight. $300.00 total for 3 accounts.

Some of my pricematches on the MSN deals didn't work out exactly as expected since Buyer Assurance lowered their per-item PM limit; still made for some fairly warm deals...

- Nikon Coolpix 995 camera final cost $159.74
- Sony DSC-F707 camera final cost $601.08
- Fuji 2600 camera final cost around $85.00 + or - a few bucks
- Sony DSC-S85 camera final cost $363.99

...after MSN, PMs, rebates, coupons, gift checks, Ebates and Mypoints in various combinations.
