OT? Outpost.com/ IBM rebates

a hot deals that a lot of people got.

Anybody got their rebate or know why so long now?

I called them up last week and was promised the checks will be sent out within next 15 business days. We'll see...

I got my 2 last week seems you need to light a fire under their ass to get your check. Try calling them up and bitching that is what I did.

I emailed them about 2 weeks ago and they sent me an "oops we should have sent them out by now" email & told me I should get it in 10-15 business days.

Which number did you call on? Rebateshq site now has different tollfree numbers,
depending on the manufacturer, and neither Outpost nor IBM is listed.

Call up the one for Xirlinx. Called em up a few days ago, and it should be sent out soon (hopefully). Good thing i'm FINALLY organized with these rebates, who knows how much i've lost in the past.

I called up Rebateshq last week and they said they would expedite both rebates. Now the rebates for both now say that the check was printed today. I would definitely call them since it has been so long.

Good to know, I just called about mine. Most of the rebates I've gotten from RebatesHQ haven't taken much longer than the specified time. I was starting to wonder about these two as the rebates have been "processing" for three months now.

PS. The phone number I used was one I found on the customer service/general questions page. 1-888-221-4692. I didn't find my way to a live CSR immediately but had to jump around some first.

I sent my rebates in the beginning of April and they were processed on 5/25. I called them to escalate, and they said that I should now receive my rebate checks in 15 business days. I think they just wanted to hold on to my $100 as long as possible.:disgust:
