Prior to the Internet, B&M stood for Bowel and Movement, a refreshing and gratifying, not to mention biologically ameliorative process which may or may not involve toilet paper, depending solely on your personal preference.
In these fast paced, interconnected, modern a-go-go times, B&M stands, of course, for Barnes and Mobile, as in, "Close Barnes door, Leroy, we're gonna get Mobile and go check out Borders."
Now, you may well ask, "Well, gosh and golly gee, just what the heck is a Borders?"
Without Borders, Eddie, a country like ours would be inundated with millions of job seeking Mexicans (Oh, wait . . .). Specifically, though, in this context, Borders refers to an international chain of bookstores that carry darn near everything except surgical intstruments and medical malpractice insurance, hence the title of the well known charity, Borders Without Doctors.
Thank you and Good Morning!!
