Well if you consider "Because I/You am/are black" as a puchline then, I guess go with it. We all have different humor styles. For me I am a VERY dry witty sarcastic kinda guy. I get a laugh at what most people just see as a smirk. To each his own.

I doubt his rants could successfully be carried over to the tv, but that does not mean they are not funny.

It's also not just about mediums they use. Comedy Central thinks Dave Chapelle is worth millions of dollars to put on the air once a week. I doubt Maddox could get his stuff on public access for free.

The bigwhigs in the music industry obviously think Britney and Nsync are worth millions as well, and they are put on the air every farkin day. Does this mean they are more talented than all of the bands that are just barely scraping by?

Anyway, you're comparing apples and oranges. One's a man with a proven comic career and the other is just an angry guy who rants about stuff in a semi-creative way.

Why not? Who cares? You act as if Chappelle is a more sophisticated comedian. I don't deny that he is a funny guy and is a very successful comedian, but not because he has a show on Comedy Central. Chappelle is good a making people laugh, he does his job well. Maddox, while not earning the cash and fame that Dave has, still manages to make people laugh. THAT is a successful comedian.

Dave Chappelle and Maddox are humorous in their own right. Whos funnier? Well, nobody is paying Maddox millions of dollars per year to appear on TV. Nobody is buying the "Best of Maddox" DVD at $20 a pop. Nobody is paying $50 to see Maddox in concert. Point it, if Maddox charged for his site, the traffic would decrease dramatically. And by decrease dramatically I mean come to a screeching halt. And by come to a screeching halt I mean he has no fvcking hope of ever making a substantial amount of money from his site, let alone even come close to what Chappelle makes
