I've heard clinicians refer to Claritin as 'sugar pills.'

Not over the counter, but get a prescription of Flonase. It costs $80 for the generic, but it takes IMMEDIATE effect, as opposed to OTC sprays which can take two weeks to start to work, and require 2-3 sprays per day, vs. Flonase only needing one. For itchy eyes, it's a good idea to use a knock-off of Claritin as well (Target's self-brand is particuarly cheap and just as effective).
My dad has been recommending jal neti and I may have to try it...Originally posted by: Squisher
Will someone here please try a Neti Pot.
Pollen looks like shards of glass. Would you feel better if someone gave you a pain killer if you had a piece of glass in your eye or would you feel better if someone removed the shard?

How is Fexofenadine superior?
Thanks for the offer, I'll pass though, very generous of you. Turns out the generic one is only $4 for 30 tablets at Wal*Mart's pharmacy, just have to get a prescription. My mom takes it and I just didn't know about it before.Originally posted by: RossMAN
My wife uses these CostCo generics, they're cheap and they work
If you don't have access to a CostCo, I could buy you a bottle and ship it to you.

You're welcome. LMK how those Walmart generics work out.
