Exceptions are really rare these days. But it's a great experience for me (first time in my life).

It's hard to describe the feeling when i walk up to her, i just wanted to talk, but she didin't feel like it, and she (plus ALL her friends) looked at me as if i'm an total alien. I felt like i'm the loneliest guy in the world at that moment

But feel pretty good now, if i can talk to that girl, i can talk to anyone.

i had never walked up to a girl and talked to her unless there was something in common like mutual friends or same class, etc.

well, i was at a bar waiting for my friends. i see this girl at the other end all alone. (note: i havent had anything to drink at this point.) i said what the hell and walked over to her and started talking. lasted about 5 min till her finance showed up. i was embarassed, but was glad that none of my friends saw that

lesson 1: ALWAYS look for a ring FIRST!
lesson2: after that, i thought i could now just walk up to any chick and start talking. unfortunately, whatever courage/feeling i had that day, i couldnt replicate. i'm back to the same old me. whenever i see someone i like, i loose my nerve

yeah, i'm trying to be more social w/strangers. but the thing that's holding me back is my lack of eye contact when i talk to them. AND I HAVE NO IDEA ON HOW TO IMPROVE IT

In my experience asian chicks are bitches...they think they're all that and they're all loud and draw attention to themselves...all the ones I've met expect you to buy things for them and generally are more self centered than other chicks...that and they can't drive...
