really?
it was OOS for me. then someone told me they had 1 in stock.
so I went back to Newegg and they DID have 1 in stock so I got it.
However, if you missed the 10th anniversary, they have their pc8000 for $266+shipping.

Fine, the new BIOSes have sorted memory problems out, and that XMS apparently no longer uses micron D9 any more anyway (which also means it won't be great for overclocking).

You can run your FSB at 400Mhz without even pushing that RAM beyond what it is rated for. 400Mhz would put your E6600 at 3.6Ghz and frankly that's a really big overclock. I doubt that your memory would be getting in your way at that level, your voltages and motherboard would be giving you the most trouble! If you have an E6600, that memory would be more than enough. It's the lower multiplier C2Ds that need the faster RAM.
