Seems too good to be true.
My guess would be that they threw up some insane numbers and are hoping for financing based on hype this has obviously created.
I went with hoax when the chip pin count was mentioned.

If true however, the performance is great. I would expect Intel to devour them yesterday.

I concede I haven't watched all of the parts yet, but it seems like they aren't trying to sell some magic pill for computing. Even his initial thoughts on where they'd start seems relatively grounded and fairly thought out. Something like this is perfect for research labs to tackle because projects typically do need fresh code to start anyways, so if the software support for development is there, then coding for a different architecture isn't as daunting. Even with a brand new amazing architecture, there are a lot of other components needed to make it work.

Every start-up's technology is amazing and revolutionary. Plus the mention super computing, which is a very different beast from general purpose computing.

I remember looking at this a few months ago, and I wasn't impressed, although I can't remember the details any more. I do remember being annoyed at how long it took to get to meaningful details beyond "the belt solves everything and I'll talk about the belt later" - to the point where it felt like he was trolling (getting a laugh at wasting everybody's time). If I'm feeling masochistic later, maybe I'll take another quick look at it...

edit: I read through some of the slides that weren't available last time I looked; it seems like there's some lack of understanding of the normal way of doing things (and there's use of nonstandard terminology for no obvious reason), some oversimplification, and some stuff that just blatantly won't work for the vast majority of real code. The whole thing feels like somebody is trying to reinvent the wheel, without quite understanding it first.
