Anyone ever play/remember that game? I picked it up back in late '99, and remember basically being floored by the technology used in the game. It had an interesting world, great mood, fun gameplay, and the graphics engine was leaps and bounds ahead technically of anything at the time. The game was using some effects that wouldn't really be fully utilized again for years. And the ray/voxel based terrain engine generated amazingly lifelike terrain in real time compared to standard low count textured polygons of the time.
Of course, the game engine was limited to 512x384 and was totally software based. All those features running on pure CPU basically needed top of the line CPUs to even hope at running it in realtime.
The devs even poked a little fun at the game as well:

Come to think of it, I still have my original CDs, and the 2nd CD had the entire game soundtrack as audio CD tracks.
Just curious if anyone else played the game at the time. None of my friends or people I've talked with remember the game. It didn't seem to sell well and the developers went bankrupt before they could release the sequal.
