outlook 2003

I need to reload windows on my laptop, but before that, i'd like to back up all the messages i'd received through outlook and i'm not really sure how to go about that. Can anyone let me know how i would be able to do that? Thanks.

Alternatively just do a search for *.pst and then copy it.
