I get a bunch of emails from Monster.com and other sites, and all I see are hyperlinks in the email.
How do I get the emails to display in HTML.
I'm using NOD32 v3, not sure if that is causing it or not.
it seems the email is in HTML, because I set outlook to show plain text only. When I get an email, I can click the ribbon to view the email in HTML. Although when I do that, I get it in this format:
To ensure delivery of this email please add monster@e0.monster.com to your Address Book or Safe List.
Outlook 2007 uses Word to render HTML emails instead of IE, and is generally a POS. CSS compatibility is iffy, so if the email uses stylesheets you may be screwed.
Emails shouldn't use stylesheets. There are so some good arguments for emailing being *exclusively* plain text in format. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with basic HTML formatting, but stylesheets? Give me a break.
Office 2007, IE7 and my emails are not displaying an embedded picture anytime one is included (typically advertisements). I'm getting a little generic icon where the picture would be located and if I hover over....I can CNTRL+Click to go directly to the website link. I'd much prefer just to see the pic.
The interesting part is that everything USED to be fine......I may have inadvertently changed a setting....but where? Something in Outlook....or.....something in IE?
Can't seem to figure this out....would love the help.
