Outlook98 and exchange 5.5

I am trying to figure out a way to get my outlook mailbox to stay on the exchange server instead on the local machine

What has happened is that people during the initial setup said they do travel with this computer, which cause outlook 98 to get all the mail from the users exchange account and save it to the local drive. Unfortunately we have had a couple of drives get messed up (of course they didn?t do anything, it just happened. It had nothing to do with the coffee that was spilled on it or the jelly donut in the CD-ROM =)) and had to be reformatted. This means that all their mail and contacts lists are gone. Any hints on how to let them have two mailboxes shared and synched (i.e. one on the local, and one on the exchange server)

Ok, here are a few possible solutions

To save the Email option-1-
1) fix the profile so all mail stays on the server.
(However, this will mean they cant read their old email while they are mobile)-not always the best choice for salesmen, sometimes they need the info in email for review during the sales call.

To save the Email option-2-
1) create a second Username/folder for those users.
2) in exchange goto-Recipients-"delivery options"tab-Alternate Recipient-Add the second Account name-then "OK"-now add the checkmark below to "deliver messages to both recipients"

Now all Email to the primary Address will be copied into the secondary account name, where it will be safe from the mobile users download. However, now there will be MORE files stored on the server for backup. Done correctly this email can be reviewed by the user(using the second account) and deleted or saved on a weekly/monthly basis.

To save the contact list:
1) create a macro on the users machine that will backup the contact info, into a shared network-secure(using permissions) "user folder".
