Just to respond to Minotar's posts, yes his temps are safe, but they are a little hotter at Idle than they could be. Also, before you can really state how safe it is, you need to run something like Prime95 or another CPU burn in test to see what it's under load temps are going to look like, assuming he has it cooled well enough then it should jump much more than abotu 10 degrees and be in the high 50's which for a 130nm(which I am guessing it is, because they haven't made any 90nm 4000's) is just fine as the stated max for them according to AMD tech support (because I had to go through this with them because my 90nm Winnie was getting a little hot) is 70C. Also due to the unreliability of any temp monitoring, since the temp you need is the temp directly above the core, which you can't measure with any real accuracy, you should always give your self about a 5C buffer. (again directly from AMD tech support) The 90nm Winnies and I am guessing Venice and SD's will run at the lower 65C Max.
So the WHOLE point of this post, is test it under load and see how high it gets, if it doesn't break 60C then I wouldn't worry, if it gets into the mid 60's you MIGHT and I stress MIGHT considering some better cooling options. Something like regreasing the HSF with AS5(artic Silver 5)
