Rumor also has it that a new version GSOB (?) might be coming out soon with more updated media and eventually the 851s is supposed to burn -Rs at 8x. Keep an eye on cdfreaks.

btw, I thought that you had posted earlier that you had gotten a couple of these already?

as to the OM raincheck offerings, I've confirmed that they stopped offering them on sale items that have rebates limited to the duration of their sale (Sun to Sat) since the rebate period would have termed. BUT they will issue a r/c for substituted items at the sale price since there would not be a rebate problem associated with the subsequent post sale purchase.
