Overclocking a Duron

hey, what are the different overclock speeds for an AMD Duron 750, I will be using an IWILL KK266 mobo, and 128MB PC 133 mem???


What is the highest MHz i can get for it to remain stable?

900 to 1GHz. That is where most of the ones I've tested lately ended up. 1GHz is not very common anymore.

Kool, I'll try and take it up to 900 maybe 1k but only if it will remain stable

My Duron 700 has run stable at 1083 for months now, thanks to the pencil trick, good cooling and 1.85 volts.

unfortunately, they tend to wear out a little quicker at 1.85 volts

I got a Taisol CGK 742092. Think thats good enough cooling?

Taisol CGK 742092 should do the work you need. Go over to overclockers.com and go to the database to see how people are doing with Duron 750. Good luck.

Running mine at 981(109x9). Two guys at work run 800's at 1015(145FSB I think). get a good HS/F though.
