Overclocking AMD and USB problems

Whenever I move the FSB up on my 1.33 Tbird from 133 to anything above it, the USB seems to not work. Its stable and has no problems at 1400 (143fsb), but the USB devices such as the mouse, Visor, and etc. items won't work after moving the FSB. If I lower it back down, I have no problems.

I'm running Windows 2k on an MSI K7T2660Pro-R
Has promise RAID and the pc-pc networking through USB.

Its a known prob in VIA mobo. If u really need the USB & also wan some higher O/cing thru FSB. Disabled the USB port & use an add-on USB card. This should solve the prob.

yes he is correct. I was having the same problem running at 143 fsb on my kt7a but i just moved my usb mouse to the mouse port with the adaptor and its fine and notice no difference in games or anything else!

But what about my other USB devices? Are they unusable if overclocking....or is it usually just the mouse???

As Wind stated it's the USB itself not just the mouse, I suggest running at default when using your usb devices and putting the ps2 adapter on the mouse, or buy a card as suggested, it's your choice.
