sorry for the delay heres my progress thus far. A user said:
"Had exact same problem with memtest86. It's some kind of UEFI/multiprocessor issue. I got past the problem when I selected CPU mode single and ran with CPU 0 (options within Memtest86)."
and he was right... I had no idea that would prevent me from running the test. Since memtest tests the CPU wouldn't disabling the ablity to test all cores defeats part of the testing?
After running memtest86 for 2 hrs with only one core it seemed the mem was good to go. I tried to run Memtest86+ but I ran into too many issues with trying that program. I did the USB option, tried to format/install using the Mt86 installer and it kept telling me it wouldn't be bootable (tried to format/install a few more times). After a few hours of reading forums I got it to install, went into the BIOS to change the boot order to USB. At boot-up it would load a blank screen then automatically go back into the BIOS settings. Gave up and moved on.
Ran windows memory diagnostic first as standard and it passed and I threw 14 hrs at Extended but it seem never to move from 21% so I figured 64GB takes days to check or somethings up. Also keep in mind now that things seem stable I will be updating the BIOS and starting to do some OC testing so I'll post numbers/ progress.
I'll test another block of 64GB to see what's up. I'll try to grab some sticks today and report back.
