I just pieced my new system together and am happy it worked first boot up and I didn't even have to swap the hdd or power LED's
I was following the guide compiled by Zebo and have been having issues.
Whatever my successful overclocks were (not very good ones), they seemed to get reset to default whenever I enter WinXP. I checked with CPU-Z to verify it.
However once I am in WinXP, I can use clockgen program to overclock and my overclocks go much higher. I have only checked 2500 with long term Prime95 (well that Prime95 like proggie that automatically assigns two threads) and have stability tested it for 24hrs just fine.
I am just barely over stock voltage at 1.375 (only because I turned it up trying to get bios overclocks stable).
Any idea's why I can't overclock successfully from bios?
