Overclocking Problems

Howdy. I'm having some problems that I hope some of you can assist me with. First, here's my rig:

KG7-Raid
AMD XP 1700+ AROIA stepping
256MB PC2100 PNY RAM
Visiontek GF4 TI4200 128MB
SB Live
3-Com 3C900 PCI NIC

Until today, I had the system overclocked to 1705MHZ by running the FSB at 155MHZ. Today, I unlocked the CPU using super glue and a defroster repair kit (I checked all connections). After putting the CPU/AS3/HSF back in, I was able to adjust the multiplier, as desired. However, Whenever I set it to anything besides 11x, it won't even post. I even set the FSB to 133 and tried just setting it to 12x and it still locks up before going into XP. The GF4 is clocked to 280/560, and has been for several weeks with no problems. I'd hate to think that I unlocked this thing for nothing and that I'm maxed out where I was before. I have tried to increase the voltage of both the CPU and the memory (wouldn't even post with ANY memory adjustment), and still nothing. Can any of you think of something that I might be missing? My temps using only the FSB overclock were 44/49.

In short, what can I do to get more power from this thing? Have any of you had problems OCing using the multiplier? It seems like I would have more problems using the FSB, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Edited because I apparently can't type.

you cant get it to post with any multiplier other then 11x?
then how do you know the multiplier is unlocked?

unless im missing something it sounds like your cpu isnt actually unlocked (partial unlocking ends up with just some multipliers working)

Are you sure it is properly unlocked? Check with a multimeter, I'm almost sure that it is not properly unlocked.

Have you tried multiplier under 11x? Like 10, 9,5, etc...
If doesn't even post @ 133 Mhz FSB, then try FSB @ 100 Mhz.
Mine is a Tbird, but I can't even post @ 133 Mhz in 11x, Vcore maxed n memory maxed.
Just make sure it's unlocked properly.

Good luck!

Ditto. Check cross-connections too (e.g. first bridge & second bridge should not be connected).
