there is something i wish to share with y'all.
when i first got my E6600 i ran it at 400x8 (on a ds3), +0.1v fsb voltage (from BIOS) and 1.375v core .. . after a couple years i got a BSOD, and the cpu would not hold the overclock anymore, so i turned it down to 2.9Ghz; then a few months back i said what the hell, pumped the voltage to 1.38 .. and it's stable again at 3.2Ghz.
so - your OC might need a boost in voltage after a couple years. or not. idk.
btw running on a 212+ and temps under control .. i guess if you really needed, you could go lots higher with the Volts. also look for fsb voltage control, you might need it if you plan to run high fsb.
