this game can be one of the most frustrating to play with a team completely full of noobs. I dont quit games, but man have I come close.
Heck, it can be bad playing with people in a premade group! I knew one of the guys in the group last night, but the matches were just bad. This one time on Hollywood (Attack) really irked me. We had an Ana (our one random) and a Reinhardt, so I decided to go Lucio. As expected, the Ana was useless as I don't think they ever healed and would always go off on their own. However, I told my group that I would be pushing us in using Lucio's speed boost. Well, I had my Amp Up available and my ultimate, so we were pushing in and I hit my ultimate... and my group just completely backed out because Torbjorn used his ultimate.
I was so mad about that. "What the #$@% are they doing!? They have sound barrier and a Reinhardt shield to use! Just kill the stupid turret!" It's also worth noting that Torbjorn was the ONLY enemy on point, so it wasn't 5 of us (Anna being useless again!) vs. 6 of them + a level 3 turret.

This is one of the most frustrating games I have ever played period. I haven't played since a few weeks after launch and don't plan to ever play again. I'm a gamer so I still keep up on the news and check threads like this but that's as close as I will get to this game. I was actually really surprised at how frustrating this game can be.
I just play random, and using Lucio's ult seems useless. I try to time it as we are rushing a point, but more often then not people just run away.
Depends on the team and how well they're working together, obviously, but there's a couple things you can do. First, announce that it's ready using your chat dial. Second, are you watching your "in range" indicator to see how many people are in range of your effects before using it?
Definitely using the range. might have to get better at announcing it.
Lucio is a proactive healer. Mercy is a reactive one. Lucio is about making sure everyone is topped up before going into a fight and then sustaining. Mercy is about picking people up. Their ults work the same general way too. Lucio is about proactively ulting *before* everyone really needs healing. Mercy is reacting to people getting wiped.
Just different ways of looking at healing I think. I prefer to play Lucio myself as I feel like I'm doing more. Mercy just feels so helpless to me.
His speed boost matched with his ult is a great combo to take over a point. Unfortunately that requires a coordinated team but I had one of those good moments @ Anubis last night.Lucio is a proactive healer. Mercy is a reactive one. I just dont like that with mercy I have to switch to attempt an attack. The strong kill boost helps her be a bit more useful.
I played a round with Ana yesterday, not to bad, but I need to work on my twitch aim to play with her. I almost feel that her bomb and sleep might be a bit too strong.
Man, McCree is friggen insane now. If you get a good one in a game now you get instantly headshotted every time you round a corner. Way worse than widow ever was.
Removed the damage drop off from LMB. So he's doing 70 damage at most engagement ranges now. Head+body kills most people.
