I'm running Bitdefender v7.2 with email scanning turned on. I use Eudora for my emails. Most of the time, Bitdefender would detect some virus in email attachments and promptly delete the offensive attachments.
However, there are occasions when Bitdefender detects an infected email which has something offensive embedded into the email itself. Bitdefender promptly quarantines my entire IN box (in.mbx) and I no longer have access to the emails stored in my IN box.
I can't get Bitdefender to ignore the in.mbx file because it only allows for entire paths to be ignored in its scanning, which defeats the purpose of email scanning I guess, since my attachment folder is within the path where in.mbx is.
Has anyone come across this problem and have a workaround?
