P-IV Cooling question

I am planning to build a new system based on one of the Granite Bay boards (Asus or Gigabyte) using a Pentium IV - 2.8. I would like to try and overclock to the max just to see how far it will go, but will probably be satisfied to leave it somewhere over 3.0. My question is about which HSF to use.
I have three options:

1) Stock Intel HSF
2) T4-Rex-478 (A friend "donated" it to me. Anybody know anything about these.
3) Other

Since I haven't bought the CPU yet, option (2) is the cheapest if I get an OEM chip. Option (1)
may be the next cheapest.

Any suggestions ?

If you're not going to OC much the retail HSF will do just fine. I've never heard of #2. Other options I would suggest are the Alpha 8942 or the Swiftech 4000.

nope never heard of it
i would choose
swiftech mcx4000
alpha pal8942

and if need be (ie. the above were not available, didnt have the holes to mount, etc) i would get volcano 7+ (its actually pretty good)
