so what my Brazilian comrade tells me today, is that what happened to many of those busloads of prisoners, is that while all of the Bolsanistas had their own charter coaches ready to go that brought them into Brasilia and out again, for their event, the police managed to convince them to get on their police buses (they had gotten into the Congress building, you see, and needed an escort behind fortified police lines to get their getaway wagons, you see) and they would be brought back to their chartered Bolsonarista coaches. And so about 5 or 6 busloads, at least 500 or more of them, I think in that one go, got on the police buses that took them straight to various police headquarters for booking, lol.
I asked if he was joking. No, that's actually how they got so many very quickly, and it kinda worked a few times/precipitated from there once the mob lost such a chunk of their force, so quickly and effectively, lol.
It also remains not-at-all baffling how the language and details of this one just completely mirrors, down to every tingle of detail, the Trump coup in 2020. It's just nuts.
Imagine if we had those police tactics--let alone personnel on sight like here...you know, the ones that Trump deliberately witheld by refusing to consider national guard, which is what an Americna president does 100% of that time, in the specific situation. But you know,
when he isn't a president but a fucking traitor, that exactly what you do)
Lula was in power for that coup. He is president. That's the difference.
