Disappointing and alarming for sure, and while I certainly don't agree with it, that
is still politics. As reprehensible as his apathy for Palestinians may be, his feelings on this are just that, feelings. He has no influence on the conflict.
Sinema and Manchin selling out to corporations in grand fashion to obstruct their own party's agenda, getting paid in the process, is a different animal entirely. Those two betrayed their own voters and as a result there were conseqences for their states and the whole country.
Looks can be bad, but bad acts are worse.
