P180 Airflow

I'm looking to overclock an E6400 on an Asus P5B Deluxe to around 3.5GHz, if I'm lucky... along with an Ultra-120 + Panaflo 80CFM fan (c'mon Tuniq, get it together already!)...

I need a case with awesome airflow- 120mm's only please.

I have heard good things about the P180, and I intend to go all-out on the wire management (dremel work, etc.)... any other cases I should be looking at?

Noise is of little issue, I'm looking for the case with the very best airflow for under $150.

No you don't. Since a 6400 draws about half as much power as a P4D when overclocked you only need moderate airflow. However since you asked

Coolermaster stacker. Fantastic for air cooling, lian li are going to be out of your budget i suspect, or just get a Chieftech dragon copy and make your own fan mounts.

Stackers are NOT the best for air cooling unless you deck them out in fans; too much area for the air to cover. A Thermaltake Armor will provide you with excellent cooling and looks, while maintaining low sound levels and providing plenty of room for expansion, watercooling or whatnot. A 6400 overclocked (and the point to where it is overclocked affects the power drawn as well) does not draw half as much power as a P4D at say 3.4GHz, but it does draw less. You still want the best airflow you can get, as it will only benefit you. You could always keep the case you have, sell your air cooling and go water, a $150 water setup will definitely outperform a top-end air setup, and it will keep noise to practically none if you do it right. PM me if you want some more info, I may even have some parts around you can have.

Try LL PC-7B +2

I changed out case fans to 4 YL 120mm. front & side intakes, rear & top exhausts. Does wonders for airflow not to mention cooling of components. My rigs have YL's maintaining their coolness, my temps are really cool.

I love my P180, I would recommend it. Isolated chambers, Both exhaust right next to CPU, HD Cages, Front Fan Filters, Clean look, Dampens sounds well.

Would also recommend replacing the stock fans with some good 120MM Yate Loons.

if you think about getting the P180 make sure you have extra long PSU cables. Also the P180 has quite a bit of plastic used in it (I personally dislike the parts antec chooses to use plactic in, especially the door, I broke 2 doors on my Antec Sonata II because of its utter flimsiness). That said, from the reviews, the stacker would be my choice if I could go full tower.

When I had it o/c'ed to 260x10 1:1 it would hit low 40's with the fans cranked all the way up. In this pic I linked to rig is running 2 instances of F@H and the fans are turned down to the lowest setting.

Above the power supply is a little vent, a fan in the front of the cpu then blows the hot air from the psu out the back.

I think you ment to type psu instead of cpu???

I taped of the all the ventilation holes around the psu area forcing all the air to be drawn in through the front of the psu channel and the exhausted by the psu. I mounted it upside down because hot air rises
