Interesting. I'm not the only one it seems. Any idea what the week was? This is a 3231A416 week 31 Costa Rica. What did you do with the CPU?

I currently have a 2.4 C1 @ 3.006 167fsb Vcore 1.525 that is extremeley stable. Just to see if I could push it further, I pushed it to 3.204 and 178fsb. P95 failed immediately. Increased Vcore to 1.575 and P95 failed after one minute. Increased Vcore to 1.625 and P95 ran all night. Temperatures increased 2-3*C, but it was definitely stable.

CPU is a week 1 Malay batch# Q301A184

Did you try 2-2-2-6? My XMS3200C2 works perfectly @ those timings @ DDR400.

That is is same here.
Once you max the chip at default, you can only get maybe 4mhz more with 1.68-1.70vcore.
Anything above 1.68-1.70v makes no difference at all.

That chip you got is probably suffering from humidity.
I am after being in Orlando for the past 4 days.

Wk43-2002 172fsb 1.68v Philippines
Wk04-2003 176fsb 1.68v Malay
The Malay will boot and run 179fsb but not 100% stable.

ive only had 2 C1s so far and both acted quite differently from B0s.....
(1.65v bios)

2.0A benchmarked 3200mhz ~ p95 stable 3000mhz
2.4B benchmarked 3060mhz ~ p95 stable 2880mhz

the older B0 chips didnt have that far of a spread between benchmarks and p95

My old C1 is a week 33 Malaysia, Pack date: 10/22/2002. I still have it, will probably sell it. My new chip is at 160 fsb so far, stable after 5 hours of P95. More P95 to come over night tonight. Both chips were on my P4PE, everything the same. I like the P4PE, very stable and lot's of OC features. I have had zero problems with it.

I had one report of XMS 3200 being stable above 400mhz at 2-3-2-5, and now yours at 2-2-2-6. I will test both.

Ive had two SL6EF cpus - week 38 and week 44. The highest stable either would
go is 161 fsb (1.65V). Both could boot at 166 but would crash when benching.
Both were tried on two different boards - a BE7 and an Epox 4pead :-(

Did you try 2-2-2-6? My XMS3200C2 works perfectly @ those timings @ DDR400.

i had to go 2-2-2-6 on the p4g...it gives errors with 5...hopefully it'll work for you.

Well my P4 2.4b may have topped out. Set at 160fsb did P95 all night with DDR 427 2-3-2-5. I went back to relaxed memory timings / speed, went for 164fsb and got an error after 11 min. of P95. Going to try 162... BTW is 2-3-2-5 @ DDR 427 pretty good? Maybe this stick isn't so bad afterall. Going to try Thugs 2-2-2-7 timings too..

I'm not too interested in overvolting the cpu. Really want to keep it at default..

That is very good considering when you usually run your ddr that high it drags on the vcore required to run it...I bet if you turned it to 1:1 ratio you would likely make it to 3-3.06ghz at default like me.....

In the past when I ran my 1.6@2.66 w/ 440ddr it required .05v more vcore to run prime95 and memtest....different mobos will react differently but I figure .03 to .05v to get stable....

My quandry will be...hopefully...

2.4@3.33ghz w/ 370mhz cas 2,2,3,5(turbo) @1.68v

or

2.4@3.166ghz w/ 440mhz ddr cAS 2.5,3,3,6 @ 1.58V

I will need to test to see if the bandwidt of the 440 at cas 2.5 can outweigh the slower ram but 166mhz more cpu power and ofcourse much more aggressive cas 2 timing...

I got a BO stepping ordered it in Jan thought for sure I'd get a C1 but no luck
It's a SL6EU pack date 11/22/02 Manufacturing Plant ?
System performs pretty well well at 150 (2700) but become unstable over that and fails at 160.
Still can't complain for a $160 cpu.
I may put it in my wife system and try again for a C1.
What you all think I'd have better luck with another 2.4 or try a 2.53

How do you tell where the cpu manufacuter at?
