Nice OC, man. But only 23,000 in 3dMark 2k1? Check out this link. If that doesn't make your mouth water, nothing will!

Question about the prommie. do you have to seal the CPU socket with Dielectric grease or is the sealstring sufficient to prevent pin corrosion?

Hey, I thought all 9800XTs had 256Mb of memory? In that link, he's showing a 128MB 9800XT.

A quick search comfirms tere is not 128mb version of the 9800xt card....However it wouldn't be the first time that crappy POS program fro the maker of that other disgrace of a bencmark pcmark2002 and 2004 would list system info incorrect....

The score does seem in par of what a 3074mhz a64 fx version would get...I would think that rather low fsb of the 3.2ghz doesn't help...I have seen some with system fsbs in the 1200's approaching 1300 and I imagine that swould help and especially running a 5:4 ratio there with some possibly pc4000 could give some better results in that program that seems to like ddr speeds and bandwidth more so then real world apps....

Why ppl even compare these things I dont know....

Also look at his overclocked 9800xt card.....

Score is probably legit, just a hand jack fest for him likely....Who knows if his system is even stable!!!

Hmm, mine 9800 XT identifies as 256Mb, although I am leaning to agree with Duvie-must be crappy software.

NO...He states "prommy" or Prometia in his title thread...that is a vapo chill setup...

Water setups don't usually make it to 4ghz....

hmmm...."The Prometia Cooler Unit uses Phase-Change technology or Vapor Compression Refrigeration to achieve freezing temperatures." I though that meant vapochill in more technical terms....

I've been looking into getting a phase change cooler for my next rig soon, so who makes the best, vapochill or prometia?

Prometia has far more cooling power and better condensation prevention, but is more expensive. They both feed off of the comps main power supply, which is about retarded.
